Laundry Room- DURING
They installed the carpet in the laundry room too. I think I'd rather have tiles in here, but that's okay. It looks so much better.

Basement- DURING
Carpet pad has been put on the stairs.
I love the new berber carpet! It looks great!
There's our new rug, just waiting to be installed. It's a brown berber.
More carpet pad has been laid down.
Look at the difference already!
Most of the ceiling tiles have been installed.
Here's the basement berber carpet.
Carpet is finished! Yippie!

Master Bedroom- DURING
Here's the master, minus the rug & some doors.
Here's the dressing area. That's my closet on the left.
Here I am painting the linen closet.
Matt's Dad painting the trim.
Matt's Dad painting the 1st coat.
Doors have been re-hung on Matt's closet.
Wall Color: BM Sandy Brown
Final coat.
This picture shows what the carpet actually looks like. I just love it!!
Here's the dressing area.
Here's our new master bedroom set. EEK! Love it! We bought both the furniture & the mattress at Bobs. The furniture is from the Manhattan collection. The mattress is a knock off pillow top posturepedic & sooo comfortable.
Here's a closer look at the bed.
Here's another angle.
Here are the new dressers.

Office- DURING
Here's the office without the carpet.
Here's the new wall color. It's BM Airway. I love it! The color is still growing on Matt.
Here's Matt's Mom painting the closet.
Here it is with the 2nd coat.
Closet is finished!
Doors are hung. Just the knobs have to be put back on now.
The new carpet looks soo good in this room!
The room is almost complete. I picked up these curtains at Walmart. It really helps complete the room.

Entry Way & Stairs- DURING
We ripped all the carpet out from the stairs & the 2nd floor. There were lots of spots from doggy accidents. Once we pulled the carpet out, the smell got even worse. Lots of bleach later, the smell & the stains are gone... just waiting for the new carpet now. The carpet's being installed on Monday.
*The carpet got delayed... boo. I guess it'll be installed on Thursday now.
This is the top of the stairs. You can see where we bleached in the bedroom. It came out great. No more stains & no more smell.
Here it is painted with BM Natural Element. Oooh, I just love it!!
Here's the top of the stairs. This is still BM Natural Element. I love the subtle green in it.
The carpet man was supposed to install the rug yesterday. This is what he did so far :(
Here's the carpet man, installing the carpet. It looks really gray in this picture. In person, the rug is both brown & gray.

Basement- BEFORE
This past spring, we had A LOT of flooding in our area. Our unit had a very tiny puddle in the corner that was mop-able. Some of the other units in the complex had much more water in their basements. So the association decided to gut & redo everyone's basement at no cost to the homeowner. Yippie! They are replacing the walls, carpet, ceiling, electrical, windows and doors. Currently, they're still working on the basement but it looks great so far. They still have to replace the carpet, finish the ceiling and some of the electrical is still unfinished.
The doors have all been replaced & everything has been painted white.
Those are our ceiling tiles in the box.
I love all the light that comes in. The slider & window makes such a difference.

Entryway- BEFORE
This picture is from the MLS listing. The decor is the previous owners.
Now you can see why that other chandelier would look absolutely perfect here.
This is the day of our closing, walking in the front door for the first time!
This is from closing day too. As you can see, we started working right away. This area will be painted BM Natural Element.
This picture is from Closing Day. We have since ripped out the carpet.
This is the view from half way up the stairs. The skylight lets in so much light.
Notice the copper tube. We just can't figure out why she put that there. It's held up by copper hooks.
You can see the copper tubing & the hooks better in this picture. Hmmm...
I like how the railing is open & you can see right down to the foyer from the top of the stairs.
This will all be painted BM Natural Elements too.
This is a view of the plant shelf from the 2nd floor.

Master Bedroom- BEFORE
This is the master bedroom from the MLS listing. That border up there is actually like a black, fishnet ribbon.
I can't wait to see our new bedroom set in here & the new carpet.
This is Matt's closet. If you notice, the fishnet ribbon is already down. That's the first thing Matt did when he walked in.
Another angle of the Master from Closing Day. The area to the left, is my dressing area.
That's the fishnet ribbon on the floor & some very sunny windows.
This is the dressing area. My closet is on the left & the vanity is on the right. I probably should have opened the blind when I took the picture... sorry.
The is a view from the dressing area into the bathroom.
